Pursuant to the Ukrainian legislation solely the diploma awarded by the higher educational institution with indication of the major “Interpreter/Translator” (“Philologist” “Linguist”) is the official confirmation of the Interpreter/Translator qualification. The notary has no authority to confirm your language proficiency only according to oral information cause pursuant to the law You have no right to interpret/translate from/into foreign language.
